Down the road “Parkweg” in Ede lays the monument for the Bombardment victims of Ede. This monument was founded in memory of the victims of the bombardment on the 17th of September, 1944. Every year a commemoration is held by children of one of the primary schools in Ede-Zuid. During the bombardment, victims sought shelter at these schools. This commemoration is musically accompanied by pipers from Pegasus.
