This year Operation Market Garden took place 80 years ago. During this operation, tens of thousands of allies jumped from various aircraft above the Ginkelse Heide between Ede and Arnhem. This operation is annually commemorated with a large commemoration and parachute drop. These para drops are part of the annual military exercise “Falcon Leap”. Soldiers from countries such as the Netherlands, The United States and England will jump for a big audience on the final day of their exercise. During the commemoration, Pegasus will perform ‘Flowers of the Forest’ and ‘Highland Cathedral’ together with Harmonie Ede.
